The Costa de la Luz and Sierra de Grazalema areas of Cadiz province have been relatively untouched by tourism and the over development seen on the Costa del Sol. This is the Costa where the Spanish take their annual holidays. The area is famed for it’s wonderful climate (warm winters and over 300 days of sunshine each year), National Parks and Nature Reserves, strong cultural traditions of Flamenco and bullfighting, Moorish architecture, historic towns and picturesque white villages, excellent local wines and cuisine and welcoming locals. The Natural Park Sierra de Grazalema is bordered by the towns and villages of Grazalema, Ubrique, El Bosque and Prado del Rey. It is an important mountain wilderness area where unique vegetation and an abundance of wildlife make it a popular area with visitors throughout the year. It is perfect for all outdoor pursuits: hiking, paragliding, bird watching and fishing.
